What this site stores
Last updated 1 September 2026
Bollard Commercial Capital is a fictional business published as a website design demonstration. It has no customers, no systems and no staff. This page describes what the website itself does, which is very little.
Nothing is collected
There is no analytics package, no advertising tag, no heat-mapping, no session recording, no chat widget and no embedded map. The site makes no third-party requests at all: every font, image, style and script is served from the same domain.
Forms on this site — the deal scenario, the contact form, the calculator email field — validate what you type and then show a confirmation. Nothing is transmitted, emailed or written to any database. Reload the page and it is gone.
What is kept in your browser
Only if you press Store my preferences in the storage notice, the site saves one entry in this browser's local storage:
- Theme — light, dark, or following your device.
- Colour scheme — which of the five palettes you picked.
- Accessibility settings — text size, high contrast, reduced motion and link underlining.
- Your answer to the storage notice itself, so it stops asking.
That entry never leaves your device. It is not readable by us — there is no us — and it is not sent anywhere. If you press Do not store, nothing is written and any earlier entry is removed; the site still works, it simply forgets your settings between visits.
A separate session-only flag records whether you opened the studio controls with ?studio=1. It is cleared when you close the tab.
Removing it
Use Reset everything in the accessibility panel of the site controls, or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. Both remove the entry completely.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies whatsoever. Local storage is not a cookie, but it is storage on your device, which is why it is disclosed here rather than ignored.
Hosting
The site is static and is served by a commercial content delivery network. Like any web host, it processes the request itself — your IP address and user agent — in order to return the page. That is a technical necessity of the web rather than something this site chooses to do, and nothing about it is stored or analysed by the site.
Contact
The address and telephone number published on this site are invented. There is no mailbox to write to about this page, and no personal data exists for anyone to request or erase.
